Mr. Weittenhiller manages all aspects of the company’s reclamation operations associated with approximately 79 mining permits located in the states of Illinois, Kentucky, Tennessee, and West Virginia. Mr. Weittenhiller is responsible to see that the company properties are timely and cost-effectively reclaimed by his in-house crews of 50 employees, supported by contractors and consultants. Mr. Weittenhiller is also directly involved bundling and negotiating the sale of Lexington Coal's permits, properties, mineral interests, equipment, and various liabilities.

Education:
University of Wisconsin - Platteville, BS in Mining Engineering
University of Oklahoma, Masters in Industrial Engineering/Engineer

Professional Experience:
Mr. Weittenhiller's career spans 30 years in the mining business. Prior to his appointment as President & CEO for Lexington Coal, Mr. Weittenhiller served as the company's Senior Vice President of Operations.  Before joining Lexington Coal, he served as the VP and General Manager - Idle Properties for Horizon Resources, Inc. where he managed the company’s reclamation activities. Over his career, Mr. Weittenhiller has gained broad experience in the management, operation, marketing and engineering of surface and underground coal mines throughout the major U.S. coal fields.
